French mantel-clock, portique model, marbre with bronze ormolu ornaments.
The clock is made around 1780-1790 by the clockmaker Carcel le Jeune in Paris youngest son of a well-known clockmaker Guillaume Carcel.
The clock is in perfect condition with his original gilding and the marbre is not broken.
The eight day mechanism strikes on a bell at the hour and half-hour.
